April Andujar

At-Large-Director 2

April is a proud Army veteran who has lived in numerous states throughout her career, including Alaska and Hawaii. Originally from Omaha, NE, her passion for protecting natural resources and serving the military led her to pursue a degree in Natural Resource Management from the University of Colorado Boulder. After working as a Park Ranger/Natural Resource Specialist with USACE at the Rogue River Basin Project, April transferred to the Presidio of Monterey as the Natural Resource Program Manager/IPMC. In 2022, she assumed the role of Natural Resources Program Manager at Army Headquarters IMCOM G4 Environmental, overseeing the Conservation Reimbursement and Fee Collection Program (CRFCP), Army Compatible Use Buffer (ACUB) program, and all areas of natural resource management (TES, INRMP, BA/BO). Outside of work, April enjoys hiking, camping, river activities, and festivals.

April has been an active member of NMFWA since joining the Presidio of Monterey, serving as a former co-chair of the Invasive Species Working Group. She proudly presents IMCOM updates at the Army Breakout Session and advocates for maximum Army attendance at NMFWA. April is also responsible for the NMFWA conference approval for IMCOM. As a Director-at-Large, she hopes to provide logistical support, assist with award nominations, and bring some fun to the role.
